Trash or Treasure - A Labor of Love, More Than Meets the Eye.
An exploration of one's perception of everyday objects, the pavilion takes you on a journey that could transform your understanding of sustainability and consumerism.
" The really magical things are the ones that happen right in front of you. A lot of the time you keep looking for beauty, but its already there, And if you look with a bit more intention, you see it."
- Vik Muniz.
The pavilion was made from 1923 plastic bags, utilized by founded techniques in wearable arts. The design was based on using an everyday object in the context of Vik Muniz ' more than meets the eye' approach. " By making beautiful imagery from the detritus of contemporary life " it conveys a message about the consumerist culture we live in (Muniz).
