Hello, I am an experienced interior designer. I have a wide experience in commercial office design, with an eye for detail and strong technical ability.I am a very thorough and diligent detail designer with excellent knowledge of product and material specification. I have a very good eye for materials – for colour, texture, fabric, space, and other elements that go into various designs. I assess an extensive variety of materials available and understand what works well in particular contexts. I recognise that clients will have varying tastes and am guided by what they want for their projects. I am a good listener and am able to have meaningful conversations so that I can tailor the work to meet the clients expectations. I enjoy working in a team environment, providing energy and enthusiasm to enable achievement of what clients want – I visualise the end results and set clear goals to achieve them.

Background:

I'm an interior architectural designer from Wellington, New Zealand. I've been passionate about interiors from a young age, having always been encouraged to embrace my creative talents. During my school years I loved the freedom and expression found within the arts, especially photography and painting, mixed with a logical understanding for physics I was advised to explore the option of interior architecture and honestly, I haven't looked back. I come from a farming family in the King Country, New Zealand and enjoy the challenge of merging the diversity found within nature to that of urban landscape and the interior's found in between.
