Cabinetry Detailing from Gone on the Wind: Reception Arena.

Details & Fabrication for the ' Tea & Coffee House" located in the ' Gone on the Wind' Project:

A rural New Zealand Wool Museum, it embraces the history of maritime trade introducing a rustic, yet durable material response. Original structure and base materials were used as storytellers for the buildings prior uses, extending its narrative with new industrial age materials to keep a cohesive design response. Materials that showed trace of age were included to represent the ever presence of inhabitation deterring the often clinical approach to museum design. Materials were selected to represent identity and warmth.
